Came across these ‘make your own wine’ carafes and I’m loving the simplicity and finishes. Something about matte/satin finish paired with high gloss is just so classic and beautiful. The subtle recess of the center button with the pin hole LED illumination…muah!…just the right touch . Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. via http://blueantstudio.blogspot.com/
SipSnap is a simple, spill-proof, kid’s drinking lid that fits any cup, anytime, anywhere. Simplify your life with a Snap.
In a word…GENIUS. As a new parent, my life is an ever revolving world of baby gadgets and tools to make feeding time easier. After many failed supposedly ‘guaranteed leak proof’ sippy cups- I have found that just tipping a regular cup in front of his face is the most effective way- albeit with the tremendous loss of letting the little guy trial and tribulate all on his own. The “SipSnap” fits my problem to the proverbial ‘T’, and I can’t wait to get my hands on my sets in Aug! Cheers!
Small, quirky planters for the green thumb in you. I love the way the wood looks almost malleable; like it had been pushed, pulled, and smoothed to create the form.
It is times like these when I wish I had some maternal instinct. I yearn to put a baby in this high chair…if only to admire their chubby little baby thighs seated in this amazing piece of baby furniture. Is that so wrong?? The lines, the materials, the colors, and the sentimental packaging all make for a well rounded and cohesive product.
chairwhore...'a blog about chairs and nothing else'
I happened upon this little gem during one of my many design inspiration excursions. It’s a wonderful blog curating nothing but- you guessed it- chairs. The layout is pure, clean, and consistent- which I absolutely love. Great collection!
How does one become this cool?
I happened across this food blog today; and was thoroughly surprised to find a teenage mind behind such thoughtful and sophisticated posts, mesmerizing photography, and a quite arguably ‘adult’ palate. Where does this innate sense of maturity and self come from? Oh, to have only a sliver of her ‘coolness’… *sigh*
Cut, stacked, and glued sheets of paper- which are then hand lacquered to an amazing finish. Something so simple and painstakingly gorgeous. A beautiful piece of art by who other than design house Nendo - check out the full story via Design Milk .
Reproduction bases….. !!!
I cannot express to you my joy upon finding these reproduction Eames chair bases. It is an absolute dream of mine to own something Eamesian- and as my pocketbook is a little thin, a reproduction base with my own designed seating atop will have to do. CHEERS!
What an amazing finish! I love the satin-y smooth and luxurious texture this paint finish has. This texture is such a gorgeous mash up between flat and glossy paint, it exudes ‘expensive’.
Supremely expensive olive oil-with the most gorgeous packaging to match! I am particularly fond of the lovely delicate gold font…so seductive.
Not your Grandpa's treehouse...
An amazing pictorial showing the makings of a treehouse. And not just any treehouse- the bomb-diggity of all treehouses. Enjoy!
